I have this terrible cold for three days now and I'm actually hoping for it to get worse, y'know to have a few days off from school. Three or four days would be fine.

My maths teacher, Mr.Emson (the guy looks like the old man from UP and Drew Carey), told the class something that caught my interest. We were learning about complex numbers (imaginary numbers in other words), and he said the book Alice in Wonderland is actually a parody of Mathematics.

Alice in wonderland (or Alice's adventures in wonderland to be precise) is written by Charles Ludwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym 'Lewis Carroll'. Mr.Dodgson here is a mathematician. At that time, complex numbers are new to mathematicians and can solve difficult problems easily. Because complex numbers a.k.a Imaginary numbers are not real numbers (hence the name 'imaginary'), some mathematicians including Dodgson have difficulties getting used to them. Simply put, Dodgson didn't like complex numbers. Well not just complex numbers, there are other mathematical stuffs that he also didn't like and so he wrote Alice in wonderland in order to ridicule these things.

So the bizarre world of wonderland is actually based on the weirdness of Maths. If you read the book, Dodgson made a few references to Maths. You can check wikipedia or google it if you want examples.

"So will the new Alice in wonderland movie have any references to maths?" is the question I had in mind when I was watching it last night. Sadly, there is little/none. Quite disappointing really. I don't wanna spoil anything. Overall the movie was OK, i guess, just not the Alice in wonderland that I was hoping for.

Yes! It's half-term!

Honestly, I think my blogging enthusiasm is degrading. Usually, within two weeks I would post something new but now that has increased to months. The cause? Facebook. Nowadays, most of my time surfing the internet has been devoted to facebook. Why? I don't even know..I just find facebook to be..addictive. I don't even understand. I see no enjoyment or benefit from it. I would go from wall to wall, reading comments, looking at photos, liking, etc. Eventually after 10 minutes or so I’ll get bored and logout, but not long after that I’ll find myself logged-in the damn website, repeating the same process. More like a curse than addiction I tell you. I very well know it’s a waste a time and I also very well know I will do the same thing despite what I've just said.

Enough with the facebook rants and on with the half-term report.

Well, there’s nothing to report unfortunately. Normally, people would fill their holidays with activities but not me. Alim has nothing good to do during halfterm. Except revise. But c’mon, what are the chances of that happening? (Zilch) So what have I been doing then? Allow my fellow lolcats to illustrate:

That pretty much sums up what my holiday is so far. I know, it’s boring, but what can I do? I wanted to go out, but unfortunately my financial status prevents me from doing so.

With January exams over and my uni application done, I feel so relieved. I'm still waiting for the decision from Imperial though. Hope they'll accept me, because if they don't, it's their loss for rejecting Dulwich college's biggest asset. Lol.

I have a lot of free time now and I usually spend them playing video games. Currently, playing Army of Two: The 40th day. I prefer to call it Army of two 2, sounds funnier. Haha. To fill my endless gaming needs I've also pre-ordered a couple of games FF13, which will arrive about early March, and Bioshock 2, arriving two days from now. Woohoo! Oh, PC gamers can suck balls cuz you won't be gettin' some of them FF13! BWAHAHAH! YOU JEAL SON? YOU JEAL??

Moving on to a more serious topic. My flight ticket booking has been cancelled! Apparently, there was something wrong with the payment but I think it's just RBA messin' up with me. I AM SO DISSAPOINTED WITH RBA. Tch. Royal Brunei Airlines. More like Rubbing Brunei's A**.

Ok, sorry, didn't mean to say that. It was immature of me. RBA is not to blame here. OBAMA IS THE ONE TO BLAME!

New video editing software

An update at last

You see, I've been busy lately..with exams I mean. Not much free time to do some blogging.

so what I've been up to?

Well, I am now back in the video editing business after such a long time. This time with a new and better video editing software. Hoho.

I've also decided to make a youtube account, you know, to widen my viewers net (no such thing?). My username is 'TheShaoWa' , I tried making 'ShaoWa' as my username but apparently that name has been used (another ShaoWa? Evil twin?) so I went along with 'TheShaoWa' cuz it sounds much more cooler. =P

From now on I will upload my videos to Youtube. So if you want to watch my latest videos just go to youtube and type in 'TheShaoWa' in the search bar and you'll get to my account, my videos are there. Super easy.

I actually don't feel like blogging ever since I opened a facebook account but since it's new year, I figured; "meh, what the heck"

Let's see, what do I have planned for 2010

- Finish my A'levels, need to get all As and among those As is at least one A*.

- Get my driving license during the summer holiday.

- Reach 2000pounds (at least) in my savings

- Purchase a new laptop, because my current laptop is like dying.

- Get rid of my double chin. Yeah, have to remove this ugly thing from my face.

- Eat more healthy food. (Not gonna happen)

- Stop my Redbull addiction.

- Regain my good luck.

It all started with The Matrix. I was watching the movie see (I know, I know, why am I watching an old movie? I was just a kid when I first watch the Matrix and I couldn't understand a thing, well, except for the fighting scenes. So I was re-watching it to understand it better). After the movie I 'wiki'-ed the matrix, and this somehow lead me to the discovery of Cicakman 2.

I don't know exactly why but I wanted to watch Cicakman 2, so I asked Hafiz to download it for me because honestly I don't know how to download movies or maybe I was using that as an excuse for my laziness. But dear ol' Hafiz refused my request, because of piracy reasons, even though he promised me he would download it for me.

Desperate, I went to the internet to download the movie I oh so wanted to watch. I found the file and began downloading it. What was strange is that it is an .exe file but what was stupid is that I saved the file despite knowing it. What was even stupider, I ran the file and it installed something: Trojans, 4 fuckin' trojans.

I asked arif for help since he's like the computer wiz. Even with his valiant effort he couldn't take down the Cicakman2.exe Trojan. Then Hafiz came, asked me to buy this software that supposedly eliminate the Trojan and make my PC faster. Guess what, it didn't do shit! And I had to spend $30 on that piece of crap. Tikus membaiki labu banar.

Now the trojan is still lurking somewhere in my laptop, cleverly hiding itself, devising for the destruction of my PC's system. I never knew one file could fuck up my PC this bad.

And all this is because of Cicakman 2.

You know what? I find junk mail to be really annoying.

Well, who doesn't?

You sign in to MSN, and every time there's this pop-up informing you about new messages, and then you go to your inbox to check it out, only to find emails from companies promoting their goddamn products. What a let-down. What's bad, these things just keep on coming.

In MSN hotmail, you have this 'Junk mail' section of your inbox, and your 'inbox' section of your inbox (Whoa, confusemoi?). These sections are self-explanatory really; your junk mails goes to junk mail and obviously, not-junk mails goes to inbox. These thing are automatically sorted (at least, I think they are). Then again, why do I find junk mail in my fuckin inbox?? Whatever is sorting my emails, it's not doing a good job. Might as well do it myself. Can't believe I just typed that, no way am I gonna do it. never send Alim to do a computer's job.

I'm just a disappointed guy ranting. Don''t mind me. =)

Haha, maybe I shouldn't begin my post with a 'wootz', it's kinda nerdy =p

Went to Chinatown yesterday, lotsa lanterns and people, it was the mid-autumn festival afterall and there were mooncakes on sale, wonder how they taste like. While people were busy buying mooncakes and enjoying the bright lanterns, I went to the salon..and had my hair cut.

She (the hair stylist) even pointed out an area of my scalp which is damaged, she said the most likely reason would be stress. Stressed? Moi? Hmm...maybe a bit..been busy lately. She also recommended a good shampoo for me to buy: 'New something'..dunno what's the second word..maybe you know? If you do, leave a post in my c-box kay? ;)

Numerologists say 090909 is the day of interconnectness. Interconnectness of what? Dunno. Don't care. The meaning is too deep for someone straightforward like me.

What really matters for me is to make my mark on this auspicious day. To make something that I'll look back one day and say "Oh, 090909, that's the day I bla bla bla"

For starters, today is the day I first had my triple-free-till-games day.

I got my new timetable already, and every wednesday I only have lessons till 10.45am and in the afternoon I have 'games', which is the brits way of calling PE. Basically, I have 2 hours of school on Wednesdays, excluding games cuz I think having PE is not much like going to school.

Wednesday from now on will be my favourite weekday.

I shall call it Yeay-nesday!

I was reading posts from other bloggers a while ago. Some of the posts I read were good, some were just downright lazy and some were boring. During the course of my reading, I was thinking of the reason what makes a post boring…and then it hit me.

Go grab a pencil and paper cuz here comes…….

Don't ask why it is in flames.

Let’s say you are visiting a blog, and you stumble upon a long post - a goddamn long one. Normally this would result in one out of two scenarios:

Scenario A, the good scenario, is when the reader reads the post. This is normally because the reader has a special interest to the particular blogger or the topic of the post.

Scenario B, the bad scenario, is when the reader simply ignores the post. Why? Long posts tend to get boring as you read it and not all of us have sufficient attention span to continue on reading a predictable and typical post. What do I mean by that? THE BLOGGING PRINCIPLE: One blogs only about oneself to interest others. So it is predictable that the post will be going to be about the author and since you know what the post will be about it is ok to skip it.

But never fear my fellow unfortunate long-post bloggers, I will bestow upon you blogging knowledge that is…

THE HARALAMBOS RULE (No, I did not made this up)

The Haralambos rule states a long post will have less chance to be ignored if there a more pictures in it.

Here’s a graph to illustrate the Haralambos rule.

The y-axis corresponds to the number of pictures put in the post and the x-axis corresponds to the length of the post. The ‘interest line’ indicates whether you’re post is interesting or not. Your post needs to be above the interest line to be interesting, thus the interesting zone, and if it is under the interest line in other words in the boring zone, your post is boring. Let’s take point A for instance, if your post is THAT long so it has to have THAT many pictures to make it interesting. For point B, if your post is THAT long but you have THAT many pictures then it is a boring post.

According to the Haralambos rule, to have an interesting post, your post needs to have a picture after 3 – 4 paragraphs.

One of the new courses they provided is the cooking course, and I think it would be very useful for me, knowing that I tend to be picky when it comes to food so why not make my own food? Who knows? No, I am not hot (or am I? *wink*), I just feel hot. It is summer time in good ol’ UK, and summer is the period when the sun releases a hell lot of UV radiation down to earth and says “Burn motherfuckas!” I am one of the victims of summer’s intense heat. Especially in my room, things get pretty hot in my room (Haha! Doesn’t that sound dirty to you?), and the one thing that keeps me from hyperthermia is my window, which I leave wide open to let the cool wind into my room. But that’s not the main point.

Sometime this week, a kid in my school fell from god-knows-what floor; I’m assuming it is the third because he survived the fall; it can’t be the floors lower than that because then it won’t be much of a fall (I mean, come on? Fall from second floor? Even I can survive that, pfff) and falling from floors higher than the third is a guaranteed death. He made quite a scene; teachers panicking, his friends OMFG-ing and me not there to witness it. Some say he fell on the railing, now that would hurt a whole fuckin’ lot. But again, that’s not the main point.

The main point is, because of this incident, the school is now freaking out and putting on safety measures before it is closed down by the government, reason: it is not a ‘safe environment’. What did they do? They put on window restrictors on all of the fuckin’ windows in the school! Even in the boarding house! Even in my room! Even my own fuckin’ window!! I mean, what the hell man? I’m not a kid, I’m 18, I won’t fall out from a window easily. Yeah, now I can’t open my window widely anymore, and this heat is killing me. I swear if I get hyperthermia I’m gonna sue this school, or maybe the window restrictor company, or maybe the sun, whichever the easiest. Now if you excuse me, I need to find a way to detach the fuckin’ window restrictor.

Hear me out. This afternoon I was about to do Zuhur prayer, and obviously before that I need to wudhu ( not sure about the spelling), so I did. Just when I was about to wash my foot -which is like the final thing to do in the wudhu act - something undesirable happened..irritating you might call it..I saw an ink mark at the tip of my thumb which I didn't notice before. We all know that -well not 'we', it's for all muslims I mean- in order for your wudhu to be 'accepted', the wudhu water needs to be in contact with the parts that need wudhu-ing ( need to find a better word than this), and wudhu-ing (I seriously need to replace this with a better word) with a damn ink mark on your thumb hinders your wudhu to be 'accepted' and since your wudhu wasn't 'accepted' your prayer will not be 'accepted' as well. So as a responsible muslim *kirai2*, I need to get rid of the ink mark.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy as I expected. I spent around 5 minutes trying to wash the mark off, but the stubborn ink mark just wouldn't disappear. As if it was taunting me, sticking out its tongue, calling me names. I tried everything; water, soap, water and soap, acid (well maybe not acid, that's just extreme), but to no avail. Out of desperation (more like frustration) I spat on my thumb, on the ink mark. I Attempted to wipe the thing off with my saliva and lo and behold it worked. It goatdamn monkeyfuckin' worked, I mean what the hell man? Saliva? The ink mark vanished in just a few rubs with my spit? For a second I thought my saliva has some sort of magical powers, but then reality slapped me at the face; it can't possible, I'm no Jesus.

I then ponder for a while; how come my saliva worked? Why is it more effective in wiping-off ink marks than water and soap combined? Maybe it was divine intervention? No can't be. There must be a scientific reason. Perhaps, it is the contents of saliva and ink that enabled it to do so. Yes. That must be it.

Interested, I went on a quest to the holyland of the internet to find the answer. I typed-in words like "saliva and ink", "saliva can make ink vanish", "how to remove ink", "can saliva remove ink" and "please give me a goatdamn answer" on the google searchbar, and yet again google has disappointed me. One search result came close though. She (I assume it's a she since they're talking about skirts. Sexist? I know, but, reasonable) mentioned something about saliva's effectiveness to remove ink but she doesn't know why.

Driven by curiousity, I searched to find out the contents of ink and the composition of saliva hoping that my normal-but-sometimes-can-be-clever mind can infer something from them. Sadly, due to my limited knowledge on biology and chemistry I can infer nothing more than "what the fuck is this??". Alas, I have resorted to this: I need you, yes YOU, who's probably smarter than me, to help me to find the answer to this question of mine. Just drop something in my c-box. Don't worry, if you are able to find an anwser, you will earn the right to brag "I am probably smarter than Alim", a reward I dare say is better than receiving a nobel prize.

By the way, have anyone seen my stapler? Just when I need it, it's gone.

Finally, AS exams are over.

I never felt so relieved. This academic year is about to end. Woah, time sure flies fast. I remember the first time when I came here..when I first saw London, we (me and scholars of my batch) were in a bus and on our way to Brunei Hall, I sat there on the bus seat looking outside from behind the bus’ window…looking at the gray dull buildings, European houses, pedestrians of unfamiliar skin colour..gazing at them with eyes open wide..and I thought to myself; so this is where I’m gonna spend most of the five years of my life in, I hope I will do well here. I was feeling a bit insecure at the time. But look at me now, all fine and dandy, like a horse running happily in a flower field, bad analogy there but you get the idea.

Changing the subject. Me and my gwans.. Heh, gwans..are going to the cinema next Friday to watch…wait for it…TRANSFORMERS 2!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..this movie is gonna be sooooo freakin awesome..but more importantly, where there’s Transformers there will be..MEGAN FOX!! AHHH!!! So Easter holiday has ended. And I'm back in school. Wait, why does the previous two sentences sound familiar? Hmm, nevermind. Now where was I? Right..

..Thankfully the Summer term is the shortest term among the other two. We only have like 8 weeks of school, which I think would require me to do a lot of revision with exams coming early June, that's a downside. I realized I need to do a lot of revision on Physics and Statistics, especially Physics because the stuffs my teacher taught me is like a summary of the topic and there are a lot of missing information regarding that topic, so I need to fill up those information gaps.

What else. There's nothing much to mention about on this post. And I don't have any dhinking ideas at the moment. Heh, dhink, never thought I would use that word again.

Now, before I start ranting about koreanisation I want to recap briefly what happened today.

Today, I woke up early; 9.30am, not something I would do on a normal day, but yes I woke up early because I..we had something planned today. Something big that required me to wake up early. That 'something' was a treat at the Japan centre restaurant. Who's treating us? Ali a.k.a Reizo. I can finally enjoy the curry soba there without worrying about the payment, god bless you Ali for your generousity *eyes glittering*. After eating we went around Oxford Street and did a little shopping. Afterwards we went back, and I had a short afternoon nap. For dinner, we went to Misato (another Japanese restaurant). Following after, we went back to Brunei Hall.

Now that's done, lets proceed to this Koreanisation issue.

I understand 86% of our youths nowadays are obsessed with Korean bands and singers or something similar. How do I know that? I don't freakin' know, but what I know is this thing will get worse and eventually lead to world doom.

All of you know I am a smart guy. And smart guys think smartly. So I'm gonna be smart. I'm not gonna further criticise this issue before a lynch mob full of DBSK fans start to hunt me down and spam my email inbox. Don't wanna that to happen *shivers*. Nevertheless, I feel I need to help these poor people, therefore as a small effort (small enough to avoid Big Bang fans from killing me) to treat this matter I've created the 'Are you koreanised?' test, included with prescriptions to reduce the effect. Nurun, I advise you to take this test.

ARE YOU KOREANISED? TEST

This test consists of questions with multiple choice answers. However, you can only choose one. The answers A, B, C and D each have points allocated to each of them; 4, 3, 2 and 1 respectively. The sum of all the points you accumulated as you answer each question will show you which koreanisation level you are in. E.g. If you answer A in question 1 and B in question 2 that means you have a total of 7 points. This test doesn't work for koreans.

Animes are a tool for brainwashing people. Grammatical error there in the previous sentence, but I don't care, to hungry to press BACKSPACE. Like I was saying, Animes are BADDDDDDDDD. They brainwash you and turn you to a Japanese. It's another method for Japanisation. Yes, Japanisation. Y'all know japanisation right? It's when you are turned into a Japanese.

How and wot? First they produce animes, then sell it to us, then we'll surely buy them because a majority of us like animes (statistics show that out of every 10 people in this world, 9 of them are anime fans, it's true! I didn't make this up), then by watching anime you'll admire it and you will gradually be fond of Japanese stuffs, for instance, watching anime makes you want to speak Japanese and the urge to buy anime merchandise will emerge in you. Ultimately, you'll convert yourself to a Japanese. Then'you'll go to Japan, and become a citizen there and next thing we know all the people in the world will become a Japanese! The Japanese will take over the world and no one will be there to oppose them! Do you see how terrible the consequence of Japanisation is?

Victims of Japanisation. They may look happy, but inside they're in pain.

Like this one time right, I have this friend (I can't say his name because he doesn't want people to know, but from now forth I will call this friend of mine 'Arif') who always swears a lot, but after Arif met this japanese friend of mine he started to learn Japanese swear words like "Kusayaro" and "baka" and has been swearing in Japanese ever since. Soon enough, he himself will turn into a japanese. I'm sorry to say there's nothing I can do to save his poor soul; JAPANISATION IS IRREVERSIBLE! Another example is my dear friend (He doesn't want his name to be exposed too, so henceforth I'll be calling him zifaH). zifaH here watched the anime "Fate/ Stay Night", and he liked it. That is untill spots and rashes began to appear on his body. Doctor said it's just allergy, but there're more to that, the doctors are actually Japanese and are trying to cover up the side effects of watching Anime. ANIMES GIVE YOU RASHES! Thanks to my rash-go-away spell, zifaH is now well and learned his lesson.

You can easily prevent this if you take these measures below:

First. DO NOT watch Animes.

Second. Avoid contact with anime sales-people because they have hypnotic powers to persuade you to buy animes.

Third. Eat a lot of maggi mee. Scientists who work under me have discovered that maggi decreases the rate of Japanisation so the more you eat the slower you'll Japanise.

Fourth. Play more, work less. Playing will relax your mind, when your mind is in its relaxed state it'll be immune to the hypnotical and brainwashing capabilities that Animes have. On the other hand working will result in stress and then make your mind weak and vulnerable to brainwashing.

Fifth and final. Give $1000 monthly to a person named Alim. Why? Obviously because he's running campaigns around the world to educate the people on Japanisation via Anime and he's working on a technology that can destroy Animes and he needs funds for it.

Brunei Culture Night 2009

Some updates from me, as promised.

The BCN is an event where Bruneian students make a performance to promote our country's culture to the people here.

You must've already gathered that I went to the BCN. This year it was held at the Leicester Square Theater. Some of my seniours are perfoming in the BCN, so I had to come to see them humiliate themselves..hehehe. It was raining that day, well, hailing to be exact, you know hail, it's like rain but frozen....and dangerous; you'll never know when a huge chunk of ice is gonna fall on your head and leave your head busted open. But I don't mind cuz Imma bad boy. lol.

So we arrived, got ourselves seats, and waited for the show to start. After half an hour, two people that what appear to be the hosts went on-stage, suggesting the start of the event. The first performance was the choir singing, they sang "kain jongsarat" which two of my seniors, zaki and adib, performed in. Then after that Adib performed the syair recital, denggungannya sungguh medegungkan. Haha, pakan. Nice lah, Nice. Following after that was the "tiupan seruling" play which was like the main performance of BCN. The play was my favourite part, they had decent actors but the humour in the play made it most entertaining. After that..uh..after that..nyeh..sorry guys, Hafiz farted again, I think I lost a fragment of my memory. I know, what a party pooper, or should I say, party farter. Haha..ha.. *sigh* lame. Ok, where was I, right, the play, it was great! I really liked it, no kiddin'. They had decent actors and..oh wait, I said this already didn't I? Ahahaha..haha..ha..ha..hmm...alright, alright, that was a pathetic attempt to make this post interesting. I'm gonna come clean with you guys, I don't remember much about the event to blog about it..maybe I should put in some pictures? Yeah, that's it, pictures, that way, I don't have to write much and it'll explain better what happened. Alym, you're an arse-wiping genius. *wink*

So Mock Exams have ended. Life resumes normally, which means going back to school. Why am I saying this? I'm living inside the school compound to begin with. Anyway, like I was saying, I'm going back to school like usual, I actually liked the exam week, you only go to school when you have an exam, after you're done with your exams, you can chill back in the boarding house, no need to go to classes. Oh well, there's only 3 weeks of school left till the holidays anyways, wee~

Hmm..what else can I type here..umm..

There's my pile of assignments and homework. No use complaining there, it'll be typical to whine about these things.

Oh yeah, Yusuke (my Japanese mate (yes, "mate", you got a problem with that?)) slipped on a Banana peel that day. It was HILARIOUS. LUL. He was chasing after Arif see, and probably didn't notice the banana peel on the ground, he stepped on it and WHOOP! Next thing I know he was rolling on the ground, shouting something in Japanese, most probably a swearword. It would be funny if what I said just now was true,but ac-tu-al-ly, Yusuke didn't really slipped on a banana peel, he fell, but not because of the banana, it's simply due to body imbalance, but the banana peel was on the ground next to him, so its funnier to think he fell because of it. Heheh.

And Hafiz, he's getting weirder and weirder each day. I dunno what's wrong with him. If I were to analogize him to a cat he would be a cat that is rubbing its head on my leg too much. Wei-ord.

Attempts to breed a rare species of duck to avoid extinction in the UK have backfired after the only two remaining males fell for each other.

Keepers at a bird sanctuary in West Sussex hoped that the last remaining female Blue Duck in the country - called Cherry - might mate with either of the drakes, Ben or Jerry.
But neither male duck appeared interested and are now inseparable at the Arundel Wetland Centre, leaving Cherry to her own devices.
Centre warden Paul Stevens said he was disappointed that efforts to produce new Blue Duck offspring had failed but said the two male birds made "a lovely couple".
"They stay together all the time, parading up and down their enclosure and whistling to each other as a male might do with a female he wants to mate with," he said.
"People who visit the centre think they're a fantastic couple, without really coming around to the idea that they are two males.
"They both have very big personalities and people come from all over the country to come and see them.
Cherry doesn't seem bothered by it, she's just happy to keep herself to herself."
Blue ducks originate from New Zealand but there were thought to be just three birds in the UK.
Keepers initially introduced Ben to Cherry, but neither seemed keen. They then brought Jerry down from a sanctuary in London.

I'm suppose to do my Critical Thinking homework right now, but somehow I don't feel like doing it.

I had this sudden change of mood just now, and it wasn't a good one. My mood just changed from normal to depressed.

"Why?" I wonder. I don't really know.

But I probably know how it happened. I was surfing the internet see, doing stuffs that I usually do like checking my friends' blogs and stuffs. Yeah, seeing how my friends are doing back in Brunei makes me feel a bit down. Homesick maybe?

To be frank, I kinda envy them.

Y'know, being in Brunei with family and friends..and their special one(s). Ah, how I wish to join them.

I know. I'm being silly and ungrateful. Being here in UK suppose to be one's wish; to have a scholarship, independent london life, orang putih friends. I'm not really complaining, I mean, it's cool here, I have ma homies and I have the scholarship. But sometimes I just wanna teleport back to Brunei and hang out there. Heh.

Or again maybe it's just me being emotional.

I'm sure this feeling's gonna be temporary and tommorow morning I'll wake up feeling fine and dandy again.

Why?

Because I keep sending them weird messages.

Well,not me.

It's the virus.

Continuation fron the 'lord of the ???" post from bru-alleynians.blogspot.com.

Asstral, due to his annoyingly arrogant attitude, was oblivious to the fact that the sly ShaoWa was just faking his so-dhinkin-called 'mental block'. While Asstral was busy bragging about himself to DikDik and DikDik attentively listening to his nonsense, ShaoWa took the chance to grab a conviniently placed-nearby-swiss knife and hid it behind him to avoid Asstral from noticing it.

ShaoWa: "See the knives? Wanna know what they're used for punk?"

As quick as lightning, he ran up to Ass-dhinkin-tral and stabbed him. For a brief moment Asstral paused, glanced at the pain he's feeling on his chest, horrified to the reality that he has a knife stucked to his chest. Upon seeing the wound, Asstral gave a weird-shocked-'OMFG' expression, much like this guy here :

yeah,like this guy, but not as cute.

Bleeding, Asstral slowly turned his head to ShaoWa, and looked him in the eye in a dramatic kind of way. ShaoWa, feeling irritated, slapped him at his face and started to stomp and kick him repeatedly.DikDik who has been out of 'action' suddenly jumped out and joined ShaoWa in his feet happy combo. Asstral was overwhelmed by the beatings and was helplessly crying and squeling on the ground.

Gradually Asstral's conciousness began to fade. As we kicked and stomped, he slowly loses his senses till at a certain point, he can't feel the pain anymore. His vision, fading. His annoying cries, fainting. His body, motionless. His breathing, stopped.

But ded humans do.

Hafiz woke up and gasped. He scanned the room and checked his body for any knife wounds. Everything was just normal; his room was still fart-scented as it has been and his body is wound-free as it's used to be. Then he came to realize it was just a dream. Yes, a dream. Don't ask why. I'm tired of typing this post, gimme a break.

Then, Hafiz lived normally ever after.

Here I am, not rockin' in Brunei hall.

Here..

in my room.

Just sitting. On the floor. On the Duvet. Or just lying on either.

Staying in my room playing my laptop or just simply staying there seems to be the most sensible thing for me to do to deal with my boredom. Even so, It's still boring.

I could go out to the lobby and watch TV, but nothing interesting is on. I could play video games in my laptop, but all the games I have suck. I could go out and shop, but I need to save my money. How about socializing with the other scholars? Yeah, I could do that...but I'm kinda shy, my confidence is not really high at the moment, not with this cold that I'm having. Untill then, mingling with other scholars is not an option, unless I somehow took care of my shyness.

It feels like I have nowhere to go here, except my room.

For the past 2 days, 'boring' seems to be the most frequent word that came out of my lips.

I wish I have something to do. Something fun maybe.

I wish my cold would go away.

And although I hate to admit it..

I wish my lumut friends are here.

Don't get me wrong, I have my Dulwich buddies to hang around with, but sometimes they have their own business to attend to and well, I..don't..usually..have..any. Eheh.

Winter Wonderland

It's winter break and the Dulwich boys have more than 2 weeks of nothing but idling and fooling around in London. Staying in Brunei Hall, accomodated with an empty room (yes, empty, literally), we braced ourselves of what would be a long and tiring holiday full of boredom and wild fun.

"Light your sabers boys, it's party time"

Last night we went to what seems to be winter wonderland, to my dismay even though it's has 'WINTER' in it's name there's no snow there. From the darkness in Hyde park we walked, we reached the amusement park. There, we equipped ourselves with bunny ears and lightsabers. Our first ride was the ferris wheel. The view was awesome; lotsa colourful lights and the rest was pitch black. What's more amusing is Arif's display of his fear of heights, although it was tempting to tease him at that moment but I decided not to do so as I pity the poor boy, he was shaking and shouting "NO,NO,NO" as the mischievious Adib and Hafiz -in an effort to tease Arif- tried to shake the capsule we were in.

Next we went on a some sort of ride that spins. I am unable to describe what it is due to my..uh..limited vocubulary and grammar. Anyhow, we rode on it and it was awesome, not to mention Hafiz in front of me screaming like a little girl caught on fire, we were screaming too but ours were not as irritating as his. After that we rode on another ride but that a story for another day so I'm gonna close this post with pictures taken on that night.
